Testimonials

We recently hired Amanda Cey from ABCey Events to produce and manage a speaking engagement and event for Michael Moore and his latest venture Capitalism: A Love Story. She only had a few days to put this together and it was a great success. She was quick to secure Justin Herman Plaza in the heart of the Financial District which naturally brought in many spectators and bankers, his target audience. As well as handling the event logistics, we also hired Amanda to spread the word and promote the event via social media and her local resources. She utilitzed her networks on Facebook, Twitter, and Linked In to invite people to the event and also to promote his film and release date. She also put together a team of street ambassadors who distributed the fliers to the bankers in the financial district and as a direct result, brought in over 1000 guests. Amanda did a great job of putting this together and getting all the permits necessary to make this happen. She was reliable and her professionalism made her extremely easy to work with. I would highly recommend their team for your next event!

We hired Amanda for an annual summer event that also served as a fundraiser for couple of schools in Haiti. She only had about a week to plan an event for about 140 people…she did a great job. We were very happy with her attention to detail. Her integrity is impeccable and willingness to go the extra mile to make her client satisfied is truly refreshing. The event was a success and over $100K was raised. I highly recommend Amanda.

Amanda produced the “Leaders of the Industry” afterparty for the Flashforward/Adobe Conference at the Supperclub, SF in August of 2008. The event was a huge success and we are still getting tremendous feedback from the attendees. The music was great, the food was delicious, and the live Aerial performance was super fun to watch. She organized a round-table speaker session where the top Flash experts were able to share the latest accomplishments in our industry, so it was a very effective component. She was highly organized and a really great event manager from beginning to end. Her exemplary people skills and hard work ethic makes her truly good at what she does.

Kellee Cooper, Flashforward Conference Director

Amanda is an extremely talented and creative professional with a keen attention to detail. We hired her to produce the Admiral Insurance Conference After-Party at Slide Lounge in San Francisco for the PLUS 2008 Conference. She was extremely well organized and highly professional. She helped market and promote the event via email marketing and helped create the event identity with Admiral branding including professional lighting and Admiral truffles with our company logo. We had a great turn-out and guests have been giving amazing feedback. The wine tasting from all the local Napa and Sonoma wineries was a huge it, and guests left with Admiral wine glasses in hand. The music and ambience of the entire event flowed smoothly and did not interrupt conversation. Amanda is a pleasure to work with and the goals of our event were met and exceeded all of our expectations.

I worked with Amanda Cey from Abcey Events in August 2008 when I was asked to organize the Global Management Conference dinner in San Francisco and I am based in Sydney, Australia! I’ve organized a lot of events in my own city but was at a loss as to where to start in San Francisco. It was my great fortune to come across Amanda’s website and from the moment she answered by query email I knew I was in great hands and didn’t have to worry about the event. Amanda is prompt, responsive, imaginative and creative. I found all her suggestions and amendments to my event brief to be well thought out and extremely helpful. Our event was a great success and memorable for all those who attended. I highly recommend Amanda and Abcey Events to anyone looking to plan an event in San Francisco. If I ever have to organize anything in San Francisco again I know who to call!

“I had a wonderful experience working with Amanda Cey. Her ease in communicating professionally and openly, as well as her attention to detail, makes her a fantastic event producer. Amanda organized a successful happy hour fundraiser at one of San Francisco’s nicest lounges in support of NextAid. The event exceeded our fundraising expectations. The one aspect which impressed me the most was the volume of attendees, mostly merely because Amanda invited them! Of course, we hope part of the reason for the great turn-out was our cause, but her circle of influence and networking skills certainly ensured a meaningful event. ”
